Original Tweed Covering Shows Some Small Tears, Marks, And Blemishes, But Overall Very Presentable Condition From 77 Years Of Use.
 
When We Purchased This Amp It Was 100% Original. EVERYTHING. Transformers, Electronics, Tubes, Speaker, Two-Prong Power Cord, Amp Cover… All Parts Were Exactly What It Left The Fender Factory With In 1957.
 
The Only Changes Made Were The Necessary Replacement Of A Few Caps For Safe Operation; These Were All Kept And Are Shown In The Listing Photos In A Baggie- They Will Be Included With Amp (See Photos).
 
The Original Two-Prong Power Cord Was Not Removed. The Buyer May Install A New Grounded One If They Desire, But This Thing Is A Time-Capsule And We Were Not Going To Make Any Alterations Other Than Ones That Were Absolutely Necessary For Use And Optimal Performance.
 
The Speaker Is Original And Is Perfect With No Re-Cone Necessary.
 
Rather Than Describe The Tone Of This Amp In Flowery Descriptive Terms, A Video Recording Of It In Use Is Included Here On This Listing. An Original 1963 Telecaster Was Used (With The Guitar Volume All The Way Up And The Tone Just Below Full). The Amp Tone Was Set On 5, And The Volume Was Initially Set On 3 To Show It Being Played Clean, Then Turned Up To 6 To Demo It With A Bit Of Drive And A More ”Bluesy” Tone, And Then Last With The Volume Turned Up Completely To Show That It Breathes Fire When Maxed Out.
