Originally A Super 400C, It Was Converted To A Mid-1950’s Style Super 400CES With The Addition Of Original 1957 Gibson Alnico Pickups.

The Natural Finish Is Original And Shows Wear From Playing And Use (See Photos).
There Have Been Repairs And Modifications To This Guitar: There Are Some Repaired Top Cracks Where The Controls Sit. The Internal Parallel Braces Were Cut To Install The Pickups. Has Signs Of Repair Around The Input Jack. There Are Removed Strap Button Holes Visible And The Heel Cap Has Been Replaced(See Photos).
The Marble Pickguard Is A Perfect Reproduction Made By Cris Mirabella.
Original Kluson Sealfast Tuners, Original Bridge, Knobs Appear To Us To Be Correct Original 1950’s Barrel Knobs, Tailpiece Is Original To The Guitar.
Has The Early ‘60’s Wide/Flat Neck Contour With the Neck Depth Measuring .8” At The 1st Fret and .86” At The 10th Fret.
Nut Width Is 1.67” (1&11/16”).
Weighs In At 7.55lbs.
Neck Is Perfectly Straight And Plays Effortlessly With Very Low Action Measuring 2mm Treble Side/3mm Bass Side At The 12th Fret. No Buzzing Or Playing Issues.
Professionally Refretted With Appropriate Larger Frets And They Are In Excellent Condition With No Pitting (See Photos).
